University Of Texas: Part 6

Over the past three years of my undergraduate studies, I have been able to strike a judicious balance between curricular academics, research, and hobbies. The educational environment in Kuwait, where I completed my high school, was completely different from that in India. At Trichy, I got exposed to a whole new culture and to adapt myself to this diversified environment, I struck a balance between my engineering life and extra curricular activities and got involved in numerous extra curricular activities. Karate besides yoga and meditation has helped in increasing my concentration level. The leadership courses I underwent helped me to lead the Mechanical Engineering Association (MEA) of NIT Trichy as an executive member and in organizing the National Level Symposium – SYNERGY ‘05 and ‘06 where I conducted paper presentations, technical quizzes and other events at the symposium. I am currently involved in training the junior year students for placements, an endeavor to train them for the campus placements in their final year.
